How to: Open an existing workbook in Excel.
Solution:
Select 'Open...' from the 'File' menu. Specify the location of the file to be opened, select the file, and click 'Open'.
To open an existing workbook:
1) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Open...'. (The Open dialog box appears.)
2) Select the drive that contains the desired workbook from the 'Look in' drop-down list. (A list of all the folders and files within the drive is displayed.)
3) (Optional) Select the folder that contains the workbook.
4) (Optional) Click 'Open'.
Opening the folder
NOTE: If the desired workbook is in one of the subfolders, repeat steps 3) and 4) until the name of the workbook file is displayed.
5) Select the file. (The file is highlighted.)
6) Click 'Open'. (The workbook opens.)
